The month of November was declared National Healthy Skin Month by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and as they say, “Your skin is your body’s largest organ, so it’s important to take good care of it.”

The skin IS the body’s largest organ! It protects us from the external environment, regulates body temperature and provides our sense of touch. However, as we age our skin ages as well. The natural process of aging and UV damage from the sun, pollution, and other external aggressors contribute to wrinkles, dark/age spots, and other non-desirable traits.
