A cleanse is a regimen intended to promote good health, perhaps to remove impurities or to provide special treatment to the body such as to cleanse the digestive system. The theory is that a cleanse will help to eliminate toxins from the body, allow healing in some instances, and to aid future ability of nutritional absorption.
Benefits of a cleanse, depending upon ingredients chosen, help to aid digestion, helps with liver detox, gut health, and colon health too. (Some proponents of a cleanse suggest the reasons they do it include a boost toward better: weight loss, energy, concentration, emotions, hair, skin, and more.)
Some examples of active ingredients which are most often used in the manufacture of different types of cleanse products include aloe, apple cider vinegar, charcoal, dandelion root, fiber, ginger, green tea, lemon, and other herbs, fruits, and vegetables to name a few.
Typical serving size determines your packaging. Think about a one- or two-day cleanse and number of servings per day such as 2-4 servings per day. This type of product is most often available in a 16 fl. oz. bottle with serving suggestions marked on the label.
An added flavor may be used to mask the strong taste of a certain nutritional ingredient, if necessary, or used to enhance consumer enjoyment and willingness to try it again.
